” Elisabeth was extremely helpful and detailed with her tutorial sessions with me. For the amount of content she had to cover for me, she was extremely strategic and planned everything so well so I could understand easily. Her attention to the detail or the content while teaching helped me understand all the concepts. She made me feel very welcomed and I was not afraid to ask questions at all. I would highly recommend Elisabeth if you are struggling with statistics and need an extra helping hand! “

” Elisabeth has been a lifesaver! By the middle of last semester, I never thought I would have gotten the B+ for PSYC 3300. However, I am so glad I managed to get in contact with Elisabeth to help me with applied statistics. I highly recommend anyone that is struggling with PSYC 3300 to contact Elisabeth for help. Elisabeth is patient and can clearly explain difficult concepts in a way that I can understand. Trust me. Your future self will thank you for not listening to your ego! (i.e. I can handle this/ I don’t need help). 🙂 “

” Elisabeth supported me through Yorkville’s Psych 6213 Research Methods class. I had no background in psychology or stats. She was patient, kind and highly skilled at making a course I dreaded palatable. I wholeheartedly recommend her tutoring services. As well as helping me to better understand the material she taught me general study skills that will serve me well throughout my degree. Definitely a wise investment! “

” Elisabeth is a great tutor! She simplified difficult material in a way that was understandable and palatable if you didn’t understand the way it was taught in class, breaking it down to the bare components. She was easygoing, patient, and understanding of how I found statistics difficult, and made sure to make it digestible while still allowing me to learn the material. I felt comfortable with her every step of the way, and it was easy to learn the material with her method of teaching. “

” Elisabeth was truly the biggest key to my success in Psyc 210. I’m not great at math and courses like this have always been stress-inducing for me, but Elisabeth helped me approach the work from different perspectives and had infinite patience for me. I never felt like I had a “stupid question” or that I was spending too long on a topic – she made me feel really comfortable to learn regardless of how slow I was to understand a topic. I would absolutely recommend Elisabeth to anyone looking for support in Psyc 210! “

” I recently had the pleasure of working with Elisabeth Kreyken as my research methodologies tutor and wanted to give her a huge ‘thumbs up’. Overall, I was so impressed with Elisabeth and found her support invaluable in helping me through my doctoral research course. One of Elisabeth’s strengths is her ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. She was also able to review my papers and give great constructive feedback. Throughout our sessions, Elisabeth was always reliable and punctual.
If you are looking for a research methodologies tutor, I highly recommend Elisabeth Kreyken. She is knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping their students succeed. Thank you, Elisabeth for all of your help and guidance. “

“Elisabeth is an amazing tutor. She really caters the sessions to the specific things that you need to improve on. She takes the time to answer the small questions that you may have and doesn’t proceed until you fully understand the concept. The sessions are not rushed and you can tell that she truly wants to help you understand the materials. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who is clearly knowledgeable about the class material for the class that you’re looking for support in.”

“Getting Elisabeth as my tutor for Psyc 301 was the best decision I could have made. My panic during the course was quelled knowing that I had a person to translate the material with, check my assignments, and re-explain concepts as many times as I needed. I committed to asking Elisabeth ALL the dumb questions and she patiently rose to the challenge (often with a picture) each time. I’m onto the next level of research design and will be again reaching out to Elisabeth.”

“I was able to survive PSYC 210, thanks to Elisabeth! I loved her teaching style and appreciated how she would review topics until I fully understood them. Her explanations were simple and great. She also provided many tips about grad school and how to succeed as a psychology undergrad. She is a great explainer and supporter. I will definitely reach out to her again if I need help grasping difficult course content.“

“Elisabeth was incredibly helpful and kind. I never felt judged for my lack of knowledge in statistics. I was dreading PSYC 210 and worried I would not be able to pass. After working with Elisabeth throughout the semester, I received an A. I am extremely grateful to her for teaching me all the material from scratch and going back over it multiple times until I understood it. She was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Elisabeth!“

“I took PSYC 210 because at the time I wanted to go into a Masters program that required it. I was in over my head as I am not a math person by any means. I definitely did not make enough time to practice as much as I could’ve but thankfully with Elisabeth’s help I was able to pass with a C grade which was honestly a miracle. Definitely worth the money and the peace of mind as she explains things in a way that makes sense and helps keep you on track meanwhile the prof was so confusing and I always felt on the verge of a panic attack in that class. Don’t wait too late in the semester to start sessions with her as it’s good to have her from the beginning so that she can teach you the simpler way to go about solving problems instead of the profs confusing way.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Elisabeth as my statistics tutor, and I cannot recommend her enough. Elisabeth’s depth of knowledge and expertise in statistics is truly impressive. She not only explains complex statistical concepts with clarity and simplicity but also ensures that her students understand the underlying principles.
Elisabeth’s teaching style is engaging and effective. She creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment and her willingness to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of each client was tremendously helpful.
Thanks to Elisabeth’s guidance and dedication, I was able to grasp statistical concepts that previously seemed daunting. I saw a significant improvement in my understanding and performance in statistics, and I credit much of that success to her.
If you are looking for a statistics tutor who is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also passionate about helping her students succeed, Elisabeth is the perfect choice. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and support, and I would recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their academic performance.”

“If it weren’t for Elisabeth, I don’t know if I would even pass PSYC 210. As a tutor, she was incredibly patient, friendly and knew how to navigate her tutoring sessions with me upon finding out my initial amount of knowledge (or lack thereof) of statistics. I saw her quite frequently, and she explained all of the concepts and formulas very thoroughly in a way that was specifically tailored for me and my way of understanding, so that I could stay on top of the new material that would be cumulatively introduced each week. She was great both on Zoom and in person, although I preferred the in person sessions more because it provided me the opportunity to quickly draw out examples from questions I had for her to see and further discuss. She is an absolutely amazing tutor and despite PSYC 210 being over, I actually still remember a decent amount of information regarding statistics because she explained it to me in such a comprehensible manner. If you are new to statistics and are feeling lost, Elisabeth will definitely be able to help you out. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you want to understand a subject as confusing as statistics presented to you in the most clear and concise way possible. I cannot recommend her enough.”

” Elisabeth is an excellent tutor for COGS 100. She is enthusiastic about the course and the materials covered. Taking lessons with her reinforced my learning since she used real-life examples and her past experiences. I highly recommend having her as your tutor, especially for those who have difficulties understanding what the professor says. “

” Elisabeth was such a great help. She was able to explain concepts in many different ways with multiple examples so I was able to grasp the material. She made me feel seen and heard as I explained my struggles and generally cared about my learning. I can tell Elisabeth truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed, she went over and beyond helping me, answering many questions, and being there for guidance as well. I highly recommend Elisabeth when looking for help with math or statistics! “

” Elisabeth was such a great tutor! She explained concepts clearly and elaborated with more detail when asked about what certain definitions meant or why we do certain operations. She was very knowledgeable about the course content gave insight on what could be expected on assignments and exams, and I felt prepared and confident with her help. “

” I had a lovely experience with Elisabeth, as not only did I achieve higher than the grade I needed, but she also altered her material to better suit how my professor taught. She did this despite my professor doing things unusually and inconsistently with most materials. She made data analysis in psychology at Douglas College significantly more manageable while being more than willing to accommodate my needs. I was impressed with her extensive expertise and in-depth knowledge. “

” Elisabeth’s support with formatting a large and unwieldy document has been invaluable. I found her clarity and transparency reassuring, and her explanations helped me see structure and possibility toward a successful completion process. I will happily consult with her any time, and recommend her services highly! “
